Andrew Mitchell MP visits Arthur Terry School sixth formers

Andrew Mitchell MP has visited Arthur Terry School to talk with A-Level Politics students, taking questions on a diverse range of hard-hitting policy issues both locally and nationally, from the proposed closure of Sutton Coldfield Police Station to intergenerational inequality.

When asked whether he was a feminist, Mr Mitchell replied with a resounding – “Yes!”

Following the visit, Mr Mitchell said:
“I think it is an important part of my role as Royal Sutton’s MP to meet regularly with our sixth formers and listen to their views. The students at Arthur Terry are an extremely interested and interesting bunch and it is always a real pleasure to visit the school.”
